The Qualifications We Seek
- At least 5 years of accounting and tax experience, including preparing Forms 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120S
- CPA or EA designation preferredExperience working in a small CPA firm preferred
- Strong advisor-first mindset focused on protecting and strengthening client relationships
- Confidence working directly with small business owners
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and tax return analysis
- Familiarity with ADP, NetSuite Tax, Lacerte Tax, ADP Tax Services, TurboTax, FreeTaxUSA, and UltraTax
- Ability to leverage technology and AI tools to increase efficiency and capacity
- Strong client relationship management, mentoring, coaching, and presentation skills
- Proactive thinking, effective teamwork, and collaborative problem-solving abilities
