Destination Peru is a luxury DMC with 15+ years in Peru and a licensed Inca Trail operator (Inca Trek by Destination Peru), U.S. and Peruvian-owned. We host private travelers, groups and incentive programs from the U.S. and other markets, working with partners like Inkaterra, Belmond, Inka Rail and PeruRail.

We're looking for an Inca Trail expert and a first-class tour coordinator to lead our operation in Cusco: someone who owns every trip, solves problems before escalating, and takes care of every detail for very demanding clients.

What you'll do

- Run our private Inca Trail treks (5D and 2D/1N) end to end: permits, guides, porters, cooks, equipment, camps and logistics.
- Buy Inca Trail permits and Machu Picchu entrances (Tu Boleto, SERNANP, Ministry of Culture), including permit release day.
- Operate private tours and groups in Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu: trip sheets, trains, hotels, transport, restaurants and special experiences.
- Accompany groups as tour coordinator, in English, handling every detail on the ground.
- Lead and grow our team of guides and trekking staff.
- Negotiate rates and manage relationships with hotels, trains, transport and restaurants, and keep our supplier and cost database up to date.




- Prepare costs for group quotes and custom trips.
- Handle operational emergencies quickly and with good judgment.

What we're looking for

- Proven experience operating the Inca Trail (3+ years), including permit purchasing.
- Experience as a tour coordinator or operations manager with high-end international clients.
- Fluent spoken and written English (required).
- Supplier network in Cusco, the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu.
- Comfortable with Google Sheets/Excel and Google Drive.
- Proactive, sense of urgency, organized, flawless follow-through.
- Highly valued: official tour guide license.
