JOB SUMMARY
As a member of Orbis Peru, the Project Manager will serve as a functional liaison between Orbis International’s headquarters, and Orbis’s partners. As such, the Project Manager will be a part of the Orbis’s Peru Team and will coordinate with in-country partners, including the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology (IRO), the National Institute of Ophthalmology (INO), the Regional Health Departments (GERESAs/DIRESAs), the National Coordinator for Eye Health Care at the Ministry of Health, among others, to support project initiation, planning, execution and evaluation.

Lima, Peru.

REPORTING & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
The Project Manager reports to the Program Director, Peru, based in Lima, and also plays a pivotal role in program deliverables. He/She will work in close collaboration with local and international colleagues to ensure seamless implementation and maintain strong communication with other Orbis areas at Headquarters and Country Offices, engaging with Orbis colleagues worldwide and fostering a integral network of support and collaboration.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

PROJECT MANAGEMENT DELIVERABLES:

Project Management:
- Responsible for the proper and timely implementation of projects—including quality, deliverables, methodology, results, products, etc.—in line with Orbis' global and national strategies.
- Manage and update project management work plans, including schedule, procurement, and M&E; plans.
- Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines.
- Support other narrative documents related to project planning.
- Support the establishment of a project management committee for sharing experiences with other Orbis Project Managers based in the country.
