Student Assistant to help with communication tasks at the Integrative Structural Biology cluster
The Integrative Structural Biology cluster at the University of Copenhagen is looking for a student assistant to assist with communications tasks with effect from January 15th, 2027. Average working hours will be 10 hours per week.
About Us
This student assistant position is based at the Integrative Structural Biology cluster at the University of Copenhagen (ISBUC – www.isbuc.ku.dk). ISBUC is a prominent scientific network which promotes an integrative approach to structural biology at the University of Copenhagen. It is constituted by over 50 principal investigators and 200 junior researchers who are spread across 16 different departments in the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences. The aim of ISBUC is to facilitate new interdisciplinary collaborations between researchers and departments and to raise the profile of structural biology within Denmark. Throughout the year,
ISBUC organises numerous events and activities to facilitate knowledge sharing, collaboration, communication and facility access between its members. These include small and large scientific meetings, a website, an e-newsletter, and various MSc and PhD courses. We also support the Junior ISBUC network who have their own roster of events.
Tasks
The primary responsibilities of the student assistant are to assist with science communication tasks, including:
• Creating posters, banners and flyers for ISBUC events
• Updating ISBUC’s SoMe accounts (LinkedIn)
• Updating ISBUC’s website (using a CMS)
• Helping to prepare the ISBUC annual report
• Helping to prepare the quarterly ISBUC newsletter
• Ad-hoc assistance at events
Qualifications And Expectations
You are a student with an interest in structural biology and molecular biology. In addition, it is beneficial to have an interest in communication.
