Role Description The Teacher role at an AMISA member schools is a full-time, on-site position. The Teacher is responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with school curriculum and educational standards, assessing student learning, and providing timely feedback. Daily responsibilities include classroom instruction, differentiated support for diverse learners, maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment, and accurate record-keeping. Teachers collaborate with colleagues, participate in professional development, and communicate regularly with families. The role requires a commitment to international-mindedness,



child protection and continuous improvement in teaching practice.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated instructional skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.
• Experience supporting diverse learners, with a focus on inclusive, student-centered approaches.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, colleagues, and school leadership.
• Ability to integrate educational technology into teaching and learning to enhance student engagement and outcomes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; relevant teaching certification or licensure preferred.
• Prior teaching experience, ideally in international or multicultural school settings.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and alignment with AMISA’s mission and values.
• Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an asset.
