What you'll do

- Teach English with BrittanyGroup English Schools
- Live and teach in Arequipa & Lima
- Start your Spanish classes as soon as your programme payment is confirmed
- Earn a monthly stipend based on the teaching groups you choose to take on
- Receive teaching guidance, classroom observation and ongoing feedback

Your first chapter: Arequipa

Experience Perus White City, surrounded by the Andes and within reach of the Colca Canyon.

Then: Lima

Continue your experience in Perus capital and discover another completely different side of the country.

Beyond the classroom

your Peru experience can also include:

- Paracas & Huacachina
- Colca Canyon
- Conversation Club
- Cusco & Machu Picchu

The Full Experience option includes the Cusco & Machu Picchu experience, including return flights, Machu Picchu entrance, professional guide and two nights accommodation in Cusco.

Initial duration: 3 months

Locations: Arequipa + Lima

Teaching load: based on the number of groups accepted

Spanish: begins as soon as programme payment is confirmed

Stipend: based on teaching load

Want to stay longer?

For the right teachers, 3 months doesnt necessarily have to be the end.

High-performing participants may be considered for a longer teaching opportunity, subject to availability, teaching performance and a satisfactory 360 evaluation.

An extension is not automatic or guaranteed.

Accommodation is not included in the programme fee. We provide accommodation guidance and recommended options in both cities.

Qualifications

Got the TEFL but not the experience? That’s exactly what this placement is for.





No previous classroom experience is required. You’ll receive induction, teaching guidance, supervised classroom experience, observation and ongoing feedback from the BrittanyGroup academic team.

We don’t just give you a classroom. We help you become better in it.

TEFL, TESOL, CELTA or an equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.

No Spanish is required. Your Spanish learning can begin as soon as your programme payment is confirmed — even before you arrive in Peru.

Salary and Benefits

From S/ 1,620 / month

≈ £360 / $481 / €420

High-performing teachers may be considered for opportunities beyond the initial 3 months, subject to availability, teaching performance and a satisfactory 360 evaluation.
