What will your role be?
As a
Press Operator
within Bradken Lima (Linings S.A.)'s Production team, you will take on a skilled, committed role in our fabrication shop. In this role, you will
perform rubber liner pressing
in line with current
codes, specifications, and standards
, ensuring work is carried out
safely and efficiently
.
Key responsibilities:
Perform all
press activities
required by the area lead, according to
work orders
.
Laminate rubber on the mill
and prepare mixes as needed to execute pressing.
Communicate and work closely with
Quality Control, Safety, and Maintenance
.
Support
general workshop requirements
and maintain
order and cleanliness (5S)
in your work area.
Maintain a
safe work environment
, ensuring compliance with company
labor practices
and
health, safety, and environmental
standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum education:
High school
.
Employment certificate
in a similar role.
At least 1 year
of experience as a
Press Operator
.
Desirable:
knowledge of
liner models
to be pressed and
rubber milling/lamination
.




Ability to
read and interpret 2D/3D drawings
.
Knowledge of
materials, metrology, calculations, and quality control
.
Ability to operate
power tools
(grinder, angle grinder, etc.).
Skills & competencies:
Ability to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
Ability to interpret technical information or instructions.
Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Effective teamwork, with a strong work ethic, organization, planning, and attention to detail.
