Job Description
Wärtsilä is seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Jakarta, Indonesia. As a Field Service Engineer, you will independently execute various field service activities, including overhauls, repairs, and troubleshooting.
Your main responsibilities will include:

- Independently execute field service activities such as overhauls, repairs, and troubleshooting.
- Identify failures, make adjustments, conduct trial runs, and test complete installations according to instructions.
- Check and adjust relevant systems (e.g., auxiliary, propulsion).
- Provide internal and external work reports according to Wärtsilä standards.
- Collect and organise time and expense reports, and inform administrative personnel as required.
- Supervise tasks performed by Wärtsilä employees and subcontractors.
- Perform pre-commissioning and start-ups of Wärtsilä engines.
- Promote Wärtsilä products and services.
- Perform OpExS procedures within the area of responsibility.
- Fully utilise FS IM tools (FSM and all APPS).
