About the role:
Our Technical Field Managers are the core of our work and actively manage and lead our teams of staff to safely implement our life saving Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) projects. Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, you will implement all aspects of Weapons and Ammunition Management (WAM) and related tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
This will include performing large scale EOD operations across the country, delivery of training to stakeholders, rehabilitation and/or construction of new facilities and monitoring of all staff carrying out technical operations to ensure safe practices and in order to build a local capacity for WAM activities. In addition, you will support the Technical Operations Manager (TOM) in ensuring overall safe execution of all MAG technical activities within the country.
About the Peru programme:
Since 2017, MAG has been conducting dedicated Physical Security and Stockpile Management (PSSM) activities in Peru. Currently, it is implementing a Conventional Weapons Destruction Programme and additional capacity building activities, both of which are funded by the US Government.
