Role Description The Corporate Security Consultant at SCR Recursos Humanos is a full-time, on-site role based in Lima. This role is responsible for assessing corporate security posture, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending practical mitigation strategies across systems, networks, and applications. The consultant will perform security audits and risk assessments, develop and update security policies and procedures, and support incident response activities.

Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with IT and business stakeholders, preparing clear security reports and presentations, and advising on regulatory and industry best-practice compliance. The role also involves contributing to security awareness initiatives and guiding the implementation of security tools and controls.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Security Consulting, including risk assessment, security architecture review, and development of remediation plans.

- Candidates should possess practical expertise in Cybersecurity and Information Security, with experience in vulnerability management, incident response, and governance frameworks.





- Candidates should possess hands-on knowledge of Network Security, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention, VPNs, and secure network design.

- Candidates should possess skills in Application Security, including secure software development practices, code review, and application vulnerability analysis.

- Candidates should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, clear written and verbal communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Candidates should possess familiarity with security standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS) and experience implementing security controls in corporate environments.

- Candidates should possess a relevant academic background (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field) and professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are considered an advantage.

- Candidates should possess a high level of integrity, discretion in handling sensitive information, and the ability to work effectively on-site in Lima with cross-functional teams.
