Role Description

This part-time English Teacher role at Contact English is based in Lima and follows a hybrid model, combining on-site classes with some work-from-home responsibilities. Day-to-day tasks include planning and delivering communicative English lessons, focusing on speaking and listening activities that align with the school’s methodology and curricular goals. The teacher will create engaging learning materials, assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt lessons to different proficiency levels and learning styles.



Additional responsibilities may include maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance, participating in teacher meetings or training sessions, and supporting a positive, inclusive classroom environment. The role requires professional conduct, punctuality, and a commitment to helping students gain confidence in real-world English communication.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in English Teaching and Teaching, with the ability to apply communicative methodologies effectively.
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Education, including designing structured, level-appropriate lessons and activities.
- Excellent Communication skills for classroom interaction, feedback, and collaboration with colleagues and students.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English at an advanced or native level.
- Relevant academic background in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience teaching English to groups or individuals, ideally in language school or similar settings.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model in Lima, manage time effectively, and use digital tools to support instruction.
- Commitment to inclusive, learner-centered teaching and continuous professional development.
