Role Overview

We are seeking several mid-level Full Stack AI Engineers to join our growing team on a contract basis. You will own features end to end, from data pipelines and backend services through to the user-facing UI, with a strong emphasis on integrating AI and machine learning capabilities into production applications.

What You Will Do

- Design, build, and maintain full stack features spanning backend services, APIs, data pipelines, and frontend UI.
- Integrate AI/ML models (LLMs, embedding models, classification, and other ML systems) into production workflows and user-facing applications.
- Write clean, tested, and maintainable code across the stack, owning your work from architecture through deployment.
- Collaborate daily with product managers, designers, and other engineers in an agile environment.
- Build and optimize data pipelines that feed into AI-driven features and analytics.
- Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain quality.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack, from infrastructure to UI.
- Contribute to technical design discussions and help shape the direction of the product.

Requisitos

What We Are Looking For

- 3-5 years of professional software development experience with a focus on full stack development.
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language/framework (Python, Node.js, or similar) and one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, or similar).
- Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML models into production applications (API integration, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, or similar).




- Experience building and working with REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of database systems (SQL) and data pipeline concepts.
- Expertise in version control (Git) and CI/CD practices.
- Comfortable working in an English-speaking environment with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

- Experience with LLM frameworks and tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI API, Hugging Face, or similar).
- Familiarity with vector databases and embedding systems (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector, or similar).
- Background in data science or applied machine learning.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Prior experience in a contractor or nearshore engagement model.
- Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, Grafana or similar).

This is a nearshore contractor position. Team members should be comfortable collaborating across time zones in a fast-moving, highly connected environment.
