At San Silvestre, we are looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst with strong experience in financial-accounting management and analysis, budgetary control, and tax compliance. The main objective of the role is to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information under IFRS, lead monthly and annual closings, and contribute to the institution's financial health, while aligning with the values and philosophy of our educational community.

Roles and Responsibilities

Accounting Management and Analysis

● Supervise and validate the recording of accounting transactions: payroll, fixed assets, revenue, and accounts receivable/payable.

● Support the monthly and annual accounting close, ensuring strict compliance with internal and statutory deadlines.

● Analyse financial statements in accordance with IFRS.

● Handle electronic invoicing (facturación electrónica).

Budgetary Control

● Participate in budget preparation.

● Perform monthly variance analysis (budget vs. vigente).

● Prepare financial forecasts.

Technology

● Proficiency in Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Sheets, Slides, etc.).

● Experience with Spring ERP (Accounting, Payroll, Logistics, Accounts Payable, Educational, and Commercial modules).

● SUNAT Platform management (PLAME, Tax Filings, SIRE, Annual Income Tax Returns, among others).

Other Responsibilities

● Understand and align with the school's institutional philosophy and values (ethos).

● Positively represent the school both within the school community and to the wider public.

Required Knowledge and Competencies

Essential

● Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (with Peruvian Licence).

● Experience: Minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in accounting analysis roles, preferably in educational institutions, universities, or the service sector.

● Languages:



Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).

● Strong proficiency in IFRS.

Technical Knowledge:

● Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of tax and labour legislation applicable to the educational sector.

● Excel Skills: Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, basic macros).

● Systems: Previous experience working with an ERP system.

Soft Skills:

● Analytical and critical thinking.

● Proactivity.

● Problem-solving capacity.

● Precision, rigor, and strong attention to detail.

● Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.

● Teamwork.

● Professional ethics and high integrity.

Desirable

● Previous experience in educational institutions or service companies.

● Postgraduate degree or specialisation in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.

● Basic knowledge of Artificial Intelligence applied to accounting.
