Role Description The Cashier role at PWX is a part-time, remote position focused on processing customer transactions and supporting smooth payment experiences. In this role, you handle sales, verify prices and quantities, and ensure accurate entry of payment information into the system. You respond to customer inquiries, provide clear information about orders or charges, and escalate issues when necessary.

Daily tasks include reconciling transaction records, reviewing digital receipts, and maintaining compliance with company policies and security standards.



You collaborate with other team members through online tools to coordinate schedules, share updates, and help improve procedures.

Qualifications

- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail for handling payments, balances, and transaction records.
- Customer service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a professional, courteous approach in remote interactions.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort working with online payment platforms, point-of-sale or billing systems, and standard office software.
- Organizational and time-management skills to manage part-time hours, prioritize tasks, and meet daily transaction deadlines.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, follow established procedures, and maintain confidentiality of customer data.
- Previous experience in retail, cashiering, call center, or customer support is beneficial but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; willingness to participate in training on PWX systems and security practices.
