As a Manager, you are responsible for providing clients with timely, accurate and efficient processing of all entitlement events and associated daily entries, ensuring investors are notified and/or paid as appropriate, managing operational risk, developing the team’s operational capabilities, optimizing operational efficiency, and supporting Senior Management of Custody Malaysia in the continuous development of an efficient and effective organization with a high focus on risk mitigation.
Region: France Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Malaysia time) Responsibilities - Lead the team in ensuring clients receive timely, accurate,
and efficient processing of all Corporate Action events and associated daily entries; ensure the client/investor is notified and/or paid correctly and promptly.
- Deliver on operational effectiveness by managing the performance of the team against goals and providing continuous improvement ideas.
- Manage risks by proactively identifying potential issues and mitigating them; strive for satisfactory audit results and train the team continuously on accurate operational procedures.
- Build a high‑performance team by hiring, training, and developing them to deliver on overall operational goals; provide ongoing feedback and conduct formal performance reviews on a semi‑annual basis; ensure Business Recovery Planning is conducted and tested regularly.
- Provide strong leadership by promoting values, communicating high‑quality standards, and developing yourself against the leadership model. Lead by example and meet all deliverables requested by senior management.
- Manage resources to ensure all daily tasks are completed and the high quality of BAU deliverables is met within deadlines.
- Leverage operational data (e.g., metrics, KPI, tracker logs) to drive business decisions and team performance.

- Build strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders globally in Corporate Actions.
- Ensure comprehensive, up‑to‑date operating procedures are maintained and easily accessible to the processing teams.

Malaysia Education Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent Minimum Experience 6–10 years Experience - At least 5 years of experience in Custody back‑office or Middle‑Office asset servicing operations.
- Knowledge of SWIFT messages.
- Experience managing the end‑to‑end process of Corporate Action or Income.
- Extensive experience leading a team of 5 or more, or a record of grooming multiple junior staff in their careers.
