The Manager, Sales - Peru is responsible for leading the execution of the regional sales strategy to drive revenue growth, customer retention, and market expansion within the region. They lead a team of sales professionals while maintaining direct responsibility for developing customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting business development efforts throughout the region. As a player-coach, they actively participate in customer engagement activities, sales pursuits, and account development while providing coaching, guidance, and performance management to the sales team.

They bring strong sales leadership capabilities with hands-on commercial execution and a focus on delivering measurable results.

Responsibilities

- Execute the regional sales strategy to achieve revenue growth, profitability, customer retention, and new business development objectives.
- Lead the day-to-day activities of the regional sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and performance expectations.
- Develop, maintain, and expand relationships with customers and target accounts to drive sustainable growth opportunities.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned region through prospecting, relationship building, and consultative selling.
- Coach, mentor, and develop sales/inside sales team members through regular performance feedback, training, and career development activities.
- Foster a results-oriented sales culture focused on accountability, customer service, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Support strategic customer engagements and participate in key customer meetings, business reviews, and commercial discussions.
- Monitor sales activity, pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and performance metrics to drive consistent execution and results.
- Ensure effective utilization of CRM systems, opportunity management processes, and sales reporting tools.
- Collaborate with Product, Pricing, Operations, Solution Design, Customer Success, Marketing,



and Finance teams to develop customer-focused solutions.
- Assist with territory planning, account prioritization, and resource allocation to maximize regional performance.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and improved market positioning.
- Support implementation of corporate sales initiatives, programs, and best practices within the region.
- Represent the company professionally at customer meetings, industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- All other duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs.

Qualifications

- Education: Undergraduate degree in a related field from an accredited college or university required.
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive sales experience, within transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain services, or a related industry.
- People leadership: prior experience leading and coaching sales teams.
- Demonstrated success leading sales teams and achieving revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention objectives.
- Experience managing customer relationships and driving consultative, solution-based sales efforts.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, forecasting, and performance measurement.
- Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members while fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Effective communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to support decision-making and sales execution.
- Demonstrated discretion and confidentiality in handling and protecting sensitive information.
- Technical: Proficient with common office technologies, including Windows PCs, Microsoft O365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and web conferencing (Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.).
- Environment: Comfort commuting to/from and working in a 100% on-site setting (listed in this posting), with travel for related meetings/events.
