About the Role

We are looking for a proactive Mechatronics Software & Data Engineer to join our engineering team and support the development of software tools, data-driven solutions, and engineering applications for Rheonics technologies.

You will work alongside the engineering team with sensor data, industrial applications, APIs, cloud services, and cross-platform software while learning the fundamentals of Rheonics instrumentation and measurement technologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of software tools for desktop, mobile, and web applications.
- Support the analysis of sensor and measurement data using statistical, numerical, and algorithmic methods.
- Develop data-processing, calibration, and automation tools using Python and related technologies.
- Assist with integrations involving APIs, databases, authentication systems, and third-party services.
- Support application deployment, backend services, and cloud-based solutions.
- Follow secure development practices for handling credentials, API keys, authentication, and application data.
- Work with the engineering team to convert industrial and measurement problems into software solutions.
- Learn and understand Rheonics sensors, instrumentation, communication protocols, and applications.

Qualifications
- Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Automation, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Good programming skills, preferably in Python.
- Experience with data analysis through academic, personal,



or professional projects using NumPy, Pandas, SciPy, or similar libraries.
- Basic experience developing software applications, APIs, or backend services.
- Basic understanding of databases, REST APIs, and authentication concepts.
- Comfortable using version control and collaboration workflows such as Git or Bitbucket.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English – written and verbal.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Eager to learn the basics of Rheonics solutions, instrumentation, control technologies, and industrial applications.

Desirable
- Experience with Flutter, Tauri, React, FastAPI, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with AWS services, Docker, CI/CD, deployment, or cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of statistics, signal processing, machine learning, or scientific computing.
- Basic understanding of security concepts such as encryption, authentication, secrets management, and access control.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, RS232/RS485, Ethernet, OPC UA, or 4–20 mA.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Experience working with Atlassian organizational tools, Jira and Confluence.
- Interest in exploring emerging technologies such as AI or XR for future projects.
