Part-time Senior Copywriter (B2B Tech) at BairesDev In this role, you'll write and edit commercial web copy our prospects actually read: pages aimed at CTOs, VPs of Engineering, and technical directors evaluating a software engineering partner. You won't start from a blank page.

Every assignment comes as a fully prepared package: an angle, detailed research briefs, verified facts and case studies, and clear style rules.

Your job is the writing: turning those briefs and data into sharp, credible copy that a skeptical technical buyer takes seriously.

This is a hands-on writing role for a senior copywriter who enjoys the craft, works well inside clear constraints, and delivers production-ready copy. You'll collaborate with an editorial and SEO team that prepares your inputs and acts on your feedback.

What You'll Do

- Write hero sections, service descriptions, case studies, and FAQs for high-visibility commercial pages, working from structured, research-backed briefs.
- Edit pre-drafted sections for voice, rhythm, and flow, within a defined style framework.
- Keep copy inside the fact fence: work only with the verified claims provided, and flag gaps or suspect facts instead of writing around them.
- Deliver production-ready copy, with brief notes on what worked and what fought you, helping improve our internal processes.

What we are looking for





- 5+ years of experience writing for a software development, software outsourcing, or consulting company.
- Proven experience writing for technical decision-makers (CTOs, VPs of Engineering, or similar) in a voice they trust: concrete, plain, and free of marketing fluff.
- Enterprise-fluent - experience working for US-based companies, in-house or agency.
- Comfort working from detailed briefs, style guides, and fact constraints without losing the writing's life.
- Conversion copy and technical content background (landing pages, service pages, technical long-form content).
- Familiarity with SEO-informed writing and working alongside SEO teams.

What we’re not looking for:

- AI-generated copy. If your process is prompting a model and polishing what comes out, this isn't the role for you.
- Generalists new to the software engineering world. The copy has to use the right vocabulary, without a glossary. If technical debt or CI/CD need explaining, the ramp-up is longer than a part-time engagement can afford.
- Single-product specialists. We're a large services company, and the subject changes with every assignment: one page is about legacy migration, the next about QA automation. Writers who've spent years going deep on one product may find this breadth uncomfortable.
- Hype writers. Superlatives, buzzwords, and urgency theater get cut on sight. The readers are senior engineers who have heard every pitch, and they're evaluating whether we sound like them.
