About the Role:

Hire Impulse is looking for a Senior C# / .NET Backend Engineer to join a short-term, high-impact HealthTech project for a US-based client. (+5 years of experience)

You will take direct technical ownership of an existing AWS serverless backend, maintaining complex multi-stage billing integrations, third-party vendor APIs, and enforcing strict engineering standards. This is a high-autonomy role requiring immediate onboarding and production-ready execution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain, optimize, and scale serverless backend services using C# / .NET (version 8 or 9).
- Own and extend server-side Stripe integrations (webhooks, multi-tier shift counting, invoice items, per-facility billing logic).
- Architect and maintain third-party API integrations (Firebase Admin SDK for server-side push, OAuth2 integrations, and pending Checkr background checks).
- Design relational database schemas and optimize query performance using Entity Framework Core (EF Core).
- Manage AWS Infrastructure as Code using SAM, CDK, or CloudFormation (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, IAM, Secrets Manager, CloudWatch/X-Ray).
- Drive clean code practices, strict GitHub PR discipline,



and rigorous credential/repo security standards.
- Participate in daily syncs and technical discussions directly with the US engineering team in English.

Required Qualifications:

- 5+ years of software development experience with C# / .NET (8 or 9 preferred).
- 100% Fluent English (C1/C2 level) — Mandatory for daily technical syncs with US team.
- Proven production experience with AWS Serverless architecture (Lambda, API Gateway, SAM/CDK, CloudWatch).
- Advanced hands-on experience with server-side Stripe integrations (beyond standard Checkout; webhooks, subscriptions, and custom usage-based billing).
- Strong relational database experience with EF Core.
- Strong Git/GitHub workflow discipline and security awareness.
- Immediate availability to start.

Nice to Have:

- Experience in HealthTech, HIPAA compliance, or workforce scheduling platforms.
- Experience integrating Checkr or background-check APIs.
