Android Engineer (Mobile Engineer- Kotlin / Jetpack Compose)

We are looking for a Mid-Level to Senior Android Engineer to join our mobile engineering team and contribute to a production Android application with advanced camera, AR, and real-time processing capabilities.

Our Android application uses Kotlin and Jetpack Compose in a modern, multi-module environment.

What you’ll work on

- Build and maintain production Android features using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Develop scalable UI and application state management.
- Integrate REST APIs and local data storage.
- Work on camera-based and real-time mobile functionality.
- Improve architecture, performance, testing, and reliability.
- Collaborate with iOS, backend, product, and design teams.
- Participate in technical decisions, code reviews, and engineering improvements.

What we’re looking for

- 3+ years of professional Android development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience building and maintaining production Android applications.
- Strong understanding of Coroutines, Flow, and application state.
- Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, or similar patterns.
- Experience consuming REST APIs.




- Familiarity with Room, DataStore, or similar persistence solutions.
- Understanding of dependency injection such as Hilt or Koin.
- Comfortable working within an existing multi-module codebase.

Nice to have

- CameraX.
- ARCore.
- OpenGL ES or graphics programming.
- TensorFlow Lite / LiteRT or other on-device ML frameworks.
- OpenCV.
- Kotlin Multiplatform.
- Ktor.
- CI/CD and automated Android testing.
- Experience working with iOS engineers or reading Swift code.

You’ll stand out if

You have previously worked with camera pipelines, AR, computer vision, image processing, real-time inference, or performance-sensitive Android applications.
