CooperDouglas is partnering with a real estate investment firm in Encinitas in hiring their next Senior Accountant. The adecuado candidate will bring a strong general accounting foundation, comfort with treasury operations and intercompany complexity, and the ability to thrive in a highly visible role.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations, including cash, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Post monthly depreciation, prepayment, payroll and lease journals.
- Post and release accrued expenditures and manage reconciliation of accrual balance.
- Execute intercompany accounting between platforms and multiple related legal entities




- Contribute to the buildout and standardization of accounting processes, policies, and workflows under new leadership.
- Operate across a complex, multi-entity structure in a fast-moving, deal-oriented environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 2 - 5 years of progressive accounting experience with a strong general ledger foundation.
- Public Accounting experience a plus. Big 4 a huge plus
- Yardi experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple entities.
- Property accounting experience is a plus but not required.
- CPA or CPA-track is a plus
- Compensation

Base salary: $95,000 – $125,000, + Bonus
