Job Description

The International Potato Center (CIP), on behalf of the Landscape Alliance (CIFOR & ICRAF in Action), is looking for a proactive RegionalFocal Point to contribute to the implementation of the “EU Regulatory Compliance with Landscape Impact” Project (IKI-EUDR) in Chazuta, Tarapoto, Alonso de Alvarado, and Moyobamba.

Aboutthe position: Reporting to the Project Coordinator,



the Regional Focal Point will play a key role in coordinatingand supporting project activities across the San Martín region . Theposition will assist with operational planning and field implementation, stakeholder engagement, workshop coordination, monitoring and reporting, as well as the follow-up of local project expenditures and safeguard-relatedobservations. The position will be based in Tarapoto, San Martín, Peru.

Key responsibilities:
- Support the operational planning of IKI-EUDR projectactivities in the field in San Martín, under the guidance of the Project Coordinator.
- Follow up on and stay informed of processes related tosupply/value chains, traceability, verification, EUDR compliance, andrestoration occurring in San Martín, to keep the project team informed andresponsive.
- Support the tracking of the local project budget inaccordance with instructions from the Finance team and the Project Coordinator.
