The International Potato Center (CIP) is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Accountant to lead the organization's financial reporting and technical accounting functions, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of its financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

The position: Reporting to the Senior Corporate Controller, the successful candidate will oversee the preparation of monthly,



quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), provide technical accounting leadership, strengthen internal controls, support financial governance, and drive continuous improvement across accounting processes.

The selected candidate will be based in Lima, Peru.

Key Responsibilities
- Be directly responsible for the preparation and timely issuance of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in full compliance with IFRS, ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial information.
- Serve as CIP's technical accounting expert by interpreting IFRS, advising on complex accounting transactions, evaluating new accounting standards, and ensuring consistent application of accounting policies.
