Position Summary The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (Sheet Metal) in a Part 145 Environment plays a critical role in maintaining and repairing aircraft components and structures. This position involves fabricating, assembling, installing,



and repairing various sheet metal parts used in aircraft construction and maintenance. The Sheet Metal Worker ensures compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and the Part 145 guidelines. Main Responsibilities Sheet Metal Fabrication and Repair: Fabricate, shape, and form sheet metal components according to engineering drawings, specifications, and aircraft requirements. Repair damaged sheet metal components by cutting, welding, bending, or replacing sections as needed. Structural Maintenance and Inspection: Inspect, assess, and evaluate the structural integrity of sheet metal components, identifying signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques to detect hidden defects in metal structures (as endorsed) Installation and Assembly: Install sheet metal components, including panels, bulkheads, ribs, and other structural parts, ensuring proper fit, alignment, and int
