The Bioprocessing sales specialist Upstream– China will serve as a technical expert, supporting customers and internal teams in the successful application and optimization of company products in the China market. This role involves conducting hands-on experiments, troubleshooting product performance, and providing scientific guidance to ensure optimal use in real-world applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Bio-pharmaceutical upstream application experiences, along with excellent problem-solving and customer-facing skills.
This role will report to APAC Product Director, Upstream, working closely with commercial teams, and be responsible for overall upstream products and potential new product launch across whole China territory. bridging general Upstream strategy into execution is key deliverables and act as product owner in global teams’ collaboration to deliver China customers’ needs and requirements.
Key success is measured by adoption of our Upstream product in customer’s new molecule workflow to gain sustainable growth.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Product Application Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide technical expertise to customers and sales teams on product usage, formulation adjustments, and performance optimization, to gain sustainable business growth within responsible territories.
- Conduct lab-scale and pilot-scale trials to demonstrate product functionality in customer-specific applications.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues related to product performance, stability, or compatibility.
2. Customer Collaboration & Solution Development:
- Work closely with key customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, including application guidelines, case studies, and best practices.
