Role Description The Agronomist Intern will support agriculture-focused initiatives by assisting in soil and crop assessments, collecting field data, and helping interpret findings for practical recommendations. Day-to-day tasks include conducting basic research on soil properties, plant nutrition, and irrigation practices, preparing reports and documentation, and collaborating with senior agronomists and project managers.

The intern will also help in designing field trials, monitoring crop performance, and contributing to sustainable cultivation strategies aligned with project requirements. This is a full-time,



on-site role based in Lima, and requires close coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure that agricultural insights are accurately reflected in relevant projects and solutions.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Soil Science and related disciplines, with the ability to analyze soil samples and interpret key physical and chemical properties.
- Knowledge of Agriculture practices, including crop management, cultivation techniques, and field operations relevant to different crop types.
- Understanding of Irrigation methods and water management, with the capacity to support planning and optimization of irrigation systems.
- Familiarity with Plant Nutrition, nutrient cycles, and fertilizer application strategies to support healthy crop growth.
- Ability to conduct Research, collect and organize data, and prepare clear technical notes or basic reports based on field observations.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Soil Science, or a closely related field.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to work in field conditions around Lima and learn from senior professionals in a fast-paced environment.
