About the Job There is an exciting opportunity with the WasteFacilityfor a General Hand. To assist with providing anefficient and effective recycling operation and customer experienceat Council’s Wylie Bay Waste Management Facility.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Sorting of recyclables placed at recycling facility to setstandard and classification, including removal of unsuitablematerials and unscheduled recyclables prior to placement.
- Maintain general cleanliness of workplace includingrecycling conveyor, shed and surrounds.
- Assist in customer service and advising patrons in correctdisposal of waste materials within Landfill Site as directed bythe Waste Management Supervisor. This is a Casual position,



rostered hours may be varied andspread over the Wylie Bay Waste Management Facility operatinghours. About you In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you musthave:
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced andchallenging team environment.
- Good communication and public relation skills.
- Efficient and tidy work ethic with good time managementskills Benefits Hourly Rate: $38.50 Permanent staff are entitled to:
- 5 weeks annual leave per year
- Minimum of 12% superannuation employer contribution
