What We Are Looking For:
The Investment Officer will support the full investment lifecycle, including sourcing opportunities, evaluating investments, executing transactions, and managing portfolio companies in line with Deetken Impact’s strategy.

This role combines financial analysis, due diligence, and strategic thinking, while collaborating closely with internal teams, investors, and portfolio companies to drive both financial performance and impact.

You will play a key role in investment decision-making by building financial models, preparing investment materials, and supporting due diligence processes. You will also engage directly with portfolio companies to monitor performance and contribute to value creation.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Investment Pipeline Development
- Identify and assess potential investment opportunities.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and support pipeline development.

2. Financial Analysis & Investment Evaluation
- Build financial models and analyze company performance.
- Assess risks, returns, and overall investment viability.

Due Diligence
- Support and coordinate due diligence processes (financial, operational, impact)
- Collaborate with external advisors and synthesize key findings.

4. Investment Committee & Deal Execution
- Prepare investment memos and materials for decision-making.
- Support deal structuring, negotiations, and closing processes.

5. Portfolio Management & Value Creation
- Monitor portfolio performance (financial and impact)
- Engage with companies to support growth and strategic initiatives.

6. Impact & Reporting
- Track impact metrics and support reporting.
- Contribute to investor updates and reporting processes.

7. Internal Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with internal teams across functions.
- Support fundraising efforts and contribute to internal initiatives.
