About the Role
Guydeez is seeking enthusiastic freelance local tour guides in Lima to lead private, personalized walking tours for visitors. This role is ideal for people with strong local knowledge who enjoy sharing the city’s culture, history, and hidden gems with travelers. No professional tour guide license is required — onboarding and guidance are provided.
Responsibilities
- Lead private walking tours tailored to each group (3-8 hours)
- Share insights into Lima’s history, culture, neighborhoods, and landmarks
- Adapt tours to guests’ interests and pace
- Deliver a friendly, professional, and engaging experience
- Optionally host food-focused or culinary-themed tours
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Lima’s landmarks, culture, and history
- Living in or very familiar with Lima
- Fluent in at least one of the following languages: French, English, Spanish, Italian, German, Chinese, Portuguese, or other major languages
- Comfortable leading tours lasting several hours
- Friendly, confident, and outgoing communicator
- Passion for food and gastronomy is an advantage
