The Role
We’re looking for a native Swift / SwiftUI Engineer to work within a large, established codebase built on Clean Architecture with MVVM-Coordinator (MVVM-C).
This is not a traditional CRUD-focused role. The core technical challenges are camera-led, involving ARKit, RealityKit, AVFoundation, Core ML, 3D math, camera geometry, and buffer-lifetime management.
What you will working on
AR & Camera Capture
- Build and improve guided AR capture workflows using:
- ARKit world tracking
- Plane detection
- Raycasting
- Anchor lifecycle management
- LiDAR depth
- Monocular-depth fallback
- Work with camera geometry and 3D math, including:
- Camera intrinsics
- Projection matrices
- Plane fitting
- Depth encoding
On-Device Machine Learning
- Maintain a second AVFoundation camera pipeline running an on-device Core ML keypoint model.
- Work on:
- Model output decoding
- Temporal smoothing
- Perspective warping
- CVPixelBuffer lifecycle and performance
IOS Architecture & Feature Development
- Develop features within a Clean Architecture / MVVM-C environment.
- Work with:
- Coordinator-driven navigation
- Protocol-first dependency injection
- Use cases
- Repositories
- Large-scale SwiftUI components
Networking & Data
- Work with a bespoke Combine + URLSession networking layer, including:
- Multipart uploads
- Reachability-gated retry logic
- Manage local persistence using:
- Core Data
- Realm
- Keychain
- Apply engineering judgment when evaluating opportunities to consolidate persistence technologies.
Croos-Platform Collaboration
- Maintain feature parity with the Android client, particularly around:
- Capture geometry
- Camera intrinsics
- Depth encoding
Musts-Haves
- 4+ years of experience shipping native Swift applications to the App Store.
- Experience owning features within a large, existing production codebase.
- Strong SwiftUI experience at scale, including:
- Generic views
- @StateObject
- PreferenceKey
- NavigationStack
- NavigationPath
- Strong Combine experience — this is a core requirement.
- Hands-on AVFoundation / camera experience, including:
- Session configuration
- Focus and exposure metering
- CVPixelBuffer lifecycle management
- Strong ARKit and simd / 3D math knowledge, including:
- Plane fitting
- Camera intrinsics
- Projection matrices
- Strong testing discipline.
- Comfortable setting up and maintaining iOS CI pipelines.

- Ability to read and understand a Kotlin / Android codebase as a reference implementation
