Sales Representative – Latin America

Job Summary

As a Sales Representative, you will play an important role in developing local sales, maintaining customer relationships, and supporting market activities.

Your main responsibilities will include visiting supermarkets and retail stores, developing and maintaining customer accounts, monitoring product inventory and displays, and working directly with store owners and managers to resolve product or inventory-related issues.

You will also identify new business opportunities, conduct market research, and support promotional activities to increase sales and brand visibility in the local market.

Qualifications

- Legally authorized to work in the country where the position is based.
- Proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
- Proficiency in the local language is required; English proficiency is preferred.
- Previous experience in sales, retail, distribution, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with local supermarkets, retailers, distributors, or consumer goods markets is preferred.
- Knowledge of retail sales, outside sales, cold calling, and market research is preferred.
- Proficient in basic office software, including Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Able and willing to travel locally for customer and supermarket visits.
- Self-motivated, responsible,



and comfortable working independently in the field.

Responsibilities

- Visit supermarkets and retail stores regularly to monitor inventory, product availability, expired products, shortages, pricing, and product displays.
- Communicate with store owners, managers, distributors, and other business partners to address inventory and sales-related issues.
- Develop new customers and business opportunities through outside sales, store visits, and cold calling.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and provide ongoing sales and customer service support.
- Conduct local market research and collect information on competitors, pricing, customer needs, and market trends.
- Support local promotions, events, product launches, and other sales and marketing activities.
- Maintain accurate records of customer inventory, orders, and sales activities.
- Place and track customer orders and coordinate order fulfillment.
- Organize supermarket shelves and product displays when needed.
- Provide regular updates on customer feedback, sales activities, and local market conditions.

Pay: S/.5,250.00 - S/.10,500.00 per month
