Project Manager, Airports

At Aecon, we are seeking an Airport Project Manager to lead the development of strategic airport infrastructure projects across Latin America. This role will play a key part from the bidding and proposal development stages through to the overall leadership and execution of awarded projects.

We are looking for a proven leader with extensive experience in airport infrastructure, capable of integrating multidisciplinary teams and managing complex environments while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance.

What You'll Do
- Lead bid processes, proposal development, and execution strategies for airport infrastructure projects.
- Direct the planning and end-to-end execution of airport infrastructure projects, ensuring schedule, cost, quality, and safety objectives are achieved.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, construction, and project controls.
- Coordinate with clients, airport operators, regulatory authorities,



and other key project stakeholders.
- Oversee project risks, contractual matters, and commercial performance.
- Represent Aecon in interactions with clients, strategic partners, and senior leadership.

What We're Looking For

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Postgraduate studies or specialization in Project Management, Construction, Infrastructure, or a related discipline are preferred.
- Project Management certifications are considered an asset.

Experience
- 15 to 20 years of experience leading large-scale, complex infrastructure and construction projects.
- Demonstrated experience delivering major airport infrastructure projects (required).
- Experience serving in leadership roles within large EPC projects (USD 200M+).
- Hands‑on experience with both airside and landside airport infrastructure, including runways, aprons, taxiways, terminals, and supporting
