A recognised teaching qualification (Ed.M., PGCE, QTS), or equivalent
A good Bachelors (or equivalent) degree in Chemistry or Physics or a subject related to Chemistry or Physics
Evidence of being, or having the potential to be, an excellent teacher in a secondary school.




Can offer enthusiasm and demonstrate a positive approach to students.
Effective communication skills and works well within teams.
Excellent information technology skills, including familiarity with Google tools for Education; (specifically Google Classroom).

Desirable

Masters or postgraduate qualification in a related subject
Experience and/or knowledge of the English National Curriculum
Experience in supervising Extended Essays for the IB Programme.
Experience teaching Chemistry or Physics at IGCSE and/or the IB Diploma Programme level.
Experience working with EAL pupils (English as an additional language)
Google Educator Level 1 or Level 2 Certification.
Experience in using Atlas Curriculum Management.
