San Silvestre is currently seeking a General Science Teacher with Chemistry/Physics who can build positive teacher-student relationships and establish a learning culture that engages and supports the progress of all students.

- A recognised teaching qualification (Ed.M., PGCE, QTS), or equivalent
- A good Bachelors (or equivalent) degree in Chemistry or Physics or a subject related to Chemistry or Physics
- Evidence of being, or having the potential to be, an excellent teacher in a secondary school.




- Can offer enthusiasm and demonstrate a positive approach to students.
- Effective communication skills and works well within teams.
- Excellent information technology skills, including familiarity with Google tools for Education; (specifically Google Classroom).

Desirable
- Masters or postgraduate qualification in a related subject
- Experience and/or knowledge of the English National Curriculum
- Experience in supervising Extended Essays for the IB Programme.
- Experience teaching Chemistry or Physics at IGCSE and/or the IB Diploma Programme level.
- Experience working with EAL pupils (English as an additional language)
- Google Educator Level 1 or Level 2 Certification.
- Experience in using Atlas Curriculum Management.
