Role Description The Coordinator of Volunteers is a part-time, remote role responsible for organizing and supporting volunteer activities across MPFORALL’s initiatives. On a day-to-day basis, this role will recruit, onboard, and schedule volunteers, while maintaining accurate records of volunteer hours and assignments. The coordinator will develop and deliver volunteer training materials, provide guidance and ongoing support, and ensure volunteers have the information and tools they need to succeed. This position will also coordinate communication between volunteers and project leads, respond to volunteer inquiries, and help resolve any issues that arise. The role includes collaborating on community outreach efforts, preparing status updates and reports, and contributing to the continuous improvement of volunteer programs.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Volunteer Management and Volunteer Training skills, including experience organizing, supporting,



and guiding volunteer teams.
Candidates should possess excellent Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities to build positive relationships and convey information clearly to diverse groups.
Candidates should possess Community Outreach experience, with the ability to engage partners and promote volunteer opportunities effectively.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to coordinate multiple volunteer activities simultaneously.
Comfort working in a remote environment, using digital tools and collaboration platforms; prior experience in coordination or nonprofit settings is beneficial.
Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and adapt to changing priorities; proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
