Key Responsibilities
Market & Business Development
Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for Peru in the power and/or telecom segment, aligned with regional growth targets
Map the local market landscape: utilities, telecom operators, ISPs, EPC contractors, distributors and government tender pipelines
Identify and qualify new business opportunities across our portfolio: HV/MV/LV power cables, optical fiber & cables, OPGW/ADSS, submarine cables, and EPC turnkey solutions
Key Account & Channel Management
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts (e.g., power utilities, telecom operators) at both technical and decision-maker levels
Establish and manage a local distributor/agent network; set channel policies and performance targets
Represent Hengtong at industry exhibitions, technical seminars and client visits
Sales Execution & Project Delivery
Lead the full sales cycle: lead generation, pre-qualification, tendering, technical-commercial clarification, negotiation and contract signing
Coordinate with HQ technical and legal teams on bidding documents,



product certifications (e.g., INDECOPI/local standards compliance) and contract reviews
Follow up on order execution, logistics, payment collection and after-sales issues to ensure customer satisfaction
Track project milestones and report market intelligence, competitor dynamics and sales forecasts to regional management
Requirements
Must-have
Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Marketing, International Business or a related field
5+ years of B2B sales or business development experience in the cable, power equipment or telecom infrastructure industry — candidates from cable/optical communication manufacturers are strongly preferred (e.g., Prysmian, Nexans, Corning, Furukawa, ZTT, YOFC, FiberHome or similar)
Proven track record in tender-driven sales to utilities or telecom operators in Peru
Solid understanding of power cable and/or optical fiber products, appl
