We're looking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develops and executes strategic sourcing initiatives and category plans aligned with company objectives.
- Leads sourcing activities for raw materials and external suppliers in support of the New
- Product Development (NPD) process, partnering with Engineering and Sales.
- Manages assigned sourcing projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of materials and supplier deliverables.
- Negotiates with suppliers on pricing, quality, delivery, specifications, lead times, and minimum order quantities to improve overall value.
- Builds, maintains,



and strengthens long-term relationships with key suppliers.
- Negotiates and manages supplier contracts to protect company requirements and maximize commercial benefit.
- Identifies, evaluates, and implements new suppliers to generate cost savings and improve supply resilience.
- Maintains working knowledge of raw material procurement requirements across all manufacturing plants.
- Leads or supports supplier evaluations, audits, and performance reviews to ensure compliance with quality, regulatory, and customer requirements.
- Assists the VP of Supply Chain with ad-hoc and formalized sourcing, cost-reduction, and supply chain improvement projects.
- Collaborates with Purchasing Managers to analyze raw materials and finished goods in support of inventory optimization, improved turns, and cash flow management.
