Are you an experienced accounting professional ready to take full ownership of a growing company's books? Veta Virtual is hiring an Accounting Manager for one of our clients in the Roofing industry. This role suits someone who combines strong technical accounting skill with the judgment to own outcomes, not just complete tasks, in a fast-moving roofing business.

? Your Role

As an Accounting Manager, you'll own the accounting operations for federal roofing and construction projects. You'll run the close process, strengthen controls, and give leadership the financial insight they need for sound decisions. This is a hands-on role. You'll own job costing, guide tooling choices, and shape how accounting runs in a fully remote, fast-paced environment.

Your Day-to-day Responsibilities Will Include
- Owning the full accounting cycle for the company's roofing and construction operations: reconciliations,



month-end and year-end close, and financial reporting straight to leadership.
- Delivering monthly P&L;, balance sheet, and cash flow statements on a fast, reliable schedule leadership can count on.
- Overseeing job costing and work-in-progress (WIP) schedules across active jobs. Checking each one for accuracy and surfacing profit trends leadership can act on.
- Owning percentage-of-completion revenue recognition and progress billing across residential and commercial projects, with full accuracy and compliance.
- Acting as a key financial decision-maker in a fast-paced environment. Balancing speed with accuracy and compliance.
- Leading the integration of outside tools with QuickBooks Online to make accounting operations run smoother.
