Ponce Health Sciences University has campuses in Ponce and San Juan Puerto Rico, St. Louis, Missouri and Tortola, British Virgin Islands. PHSU BVI is an ACCM accredited university founded in 2025 and is in its second year of training future medical students.

THE POSITION

The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for the administration, coordination, and oversight of clinical education experiences for students enrolled in PHSU BVI health sciences programs. The Clinical Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between PHSU BVI, clinical affiliates, healthcare facilities, preceptors, faculty,



and students to ensure high-quality clinical training experiences that support student learning outcomes, accreditation requirements, and institutional goals.

The incumbent will coordinate student clinical placements throughout the British Virgin Islands and other approved clinical training sites, monitor compliance requirements, maintain clinical records, and support the development and expansion of clinical partnerships that advance PHSU BVI's mission of excellence in education, research, and community engagement. This position directly supports PHSU BVI. Preferred candidate locations: FLORIDA, PUERTO RICO, BVI

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Clinical Education Coordination

Coordinate clinical placements, rotations, and experiential learning opportunities for students.
Develop and maintain clinical schedules in collaboration with faculty, clinical preceptors, and healthcare facilities.
Monitor student completion of clinical requirements and competencie
