The team
Founded in 2011, Kraken is one of the world's longest-standing crypto platforms, trusted by over 10 million individuals and institutions across the globe. It offers spot trading, margin, futures, staking, and OTC services, with products built for both individual investors and institutional clients.
We're looking for a React Native engineer to join a cross-functional Consumer pod focused on building and scaling core Krak experiences. You'll build alongside Product, Frontend and Backend Engineers in your pod, delivering seamless, performant user experiences across our Krak app, holding the features you ship to a high bar for UX,
technical quality, and reliability. It's an opportunity to build high-impact, consumer-facing functionality used daily by a global user base.
The opportunity
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript
Own the end-to-end delivery of assigned Krak features, from technical design through release and post-launch iteration
Build screens and components that are maintainable, performant, and resilient, applying established architecture and design patterns
Write clean, well-tested code and take an active part in code review, applying the team’s engineering standards consistently
Contribute to technical design discussions within your pod, raising clear proposals and trade-offs for the work you own
Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and the Rust backend engineers in your pod to deliver features with measurable customer value
