DUTIES:
The incumbent is frequently the first official contact of the Embassy for visitors and this position supports the Embassy switchboard and receptionist operations utilizing tact, diplomacy, politeness, and competency. The incumbent provides services and support as a telephone operator, a receptionist, and a backup timekeeper. The incumbent communicates frequently with both American and Peruvian citizens requesting information or services from the Embassy on a variety of different issues in both English and Spanish. The incumbent will also meet and greet internal and external visitors and coordinate their arrival.
Experience : A minimum of one year of work experience in administrative, clerical, or telephone switchboard operations is required.
Education: At least two years of college/post-secondary studies is required.
