JOB SUMMARY: This position is primarily responsible for answering and routing the Bank’s incoming calls and opening, closing, and admitting customers to Safe Deposit Boxes. This position mails overdraft notices, makes entries and sends letters for charge off checking accounts, orders and maintains ATM/Debit cards.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Answers calls coming in on a multi-line phone switch and routes to the appropriate Bank representative for handling. Always exhibits professional and courteous phone demeanor.
- Readily available for customer needs in Safe Deposit area.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Mails overdraft notices weekly.
- Orders new ATM/Debit cards, charge customer’s accounts as needed, reorders cards or PINs as needed.
- Research on customer accounts for prior statements.
- Grants customers access to their safe deposit boxes.
- Files signature cards for new accounts.
- Pulls closed account paperwork for filing.
- Performs other duties as required.
- May participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.





REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school education or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- Six months of cash handling experience.
- Six months of Customer Service experience
- Strong proficiency in PC skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION:
- 2+ years of banking experience and professional banking/new accounts experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree.
