About The Role

As a Care Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred support to residents, assisting with daily living activities while promoting independence, choice, and wellbeing. Working as part of a dedicated residential team, you'll build genuine relationships with residents and help create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care support including bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, feeding, mobility assistance, hoisting, and other daily living activities
Assist residents with medication administration and monitoring
Assist with meal preparation and feeding
Assist with catheter care, enteral management and basic wound care
Encourage participation in activities that promote inclusion, independence, and achievement of individual goals
Report and document changes in resident wellbeing and health status
Maintain accurate records and resident documentation
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
Must-haves
Current First Aid Certificate
Current CPR Certificate
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
A genuine passion for supporting people living with disability
NDIS Worker Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
NDIS Orientation Certificate (or ability to obtain)
