Founding Linked In Outbound Campaign Strategist

Hey! We’re Scale Up, and our client is looking to hire a Founding Linked In Outbound Campaign Strategist for a fast-growing AI startup building an AI-powered growth platform for Linked In outbound.

Type of Employment: Full-Time Contractor (Long-term)
Work Modality: 100% Remote
Work Schedule: Full-Time

Location: Integral

About Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing AI startup building technology that helps companies identify the right prospects, start highly relevant conversations, and turn those conversations into qualified sales meetings.

What You’ll Own

- Learn each client’s product, market, customers, positioning, and sales process.
- Identify the strongest ICPs, buyer segments, triggers, and campaign angles.
- Build highly targeted prospect lists using Linked In Sales Navigator and other data sources.
- Determine who to target, why they would care, and why the timing is relevant.
- Write connection requests, opening messages, follow-ups, and campaign variations.
- Build and launch Linked In outbound campaigns using the company’s platform.
- Monitor acceptance, reply, positive reply, meeting, attendance, and lead-quality rates.
- Identify where campaigns are underperforming and make the necessary adjustments.
- Run structured tests across audiences, offers, messaging, and CTAs.
- Review replies and conversations to understand what the market is actually saying.
- Pause weak campaigns quickly and scale the ones that work.
- Maintain clear campaign documentation covering tests, results, and learnings.
- Turn successful campaigns into repeatable playbooks for the broader team.

What Exceptional Looks Like

You can look at a company and quickly answer:

- Who is most likely to buy this?
- What signals suggest they may need it right now?
- Who should we exclude from the campaign?
- What would make the outreach feel specific without sounding automated?

- Is the problem the audience, offer, message, timing, or follow-up?
- What does the campaign data tell us to change next?

You May Be a Great Fit If

- You have built and optimized successful B2B outbound campaigns.
- You are extremely strong in ICP research, segmentation, targeting, and outbound copywriting.
- You have deep hands-on experience with Linked In Sales Navigator.
- You can write messages that are concise, casual, relevant, and genuinely human.
- You understand the difference between getting a reply and generating a qualified sales opportunity.
- You are comfortable working across multiple industries and quickly learning new markets.
- You use campaign data to make decisions rather than relying only on intuition.
- You can diagnose targeting and messaging problems and act on them quickly.
- You take full ownership and are comfortable working with minimal supervision.
- You can clearly explain why a campaign worked, why it failed, and what should happen next.
- You care deeply about the quality and business impact of your work.

Experience with tools such as Clay, Apollo, Instantly, Hey Reach, Expandi, Smartlead, Unipile, or similar outbound platforms is a plus, but results and strategic thinking matter more than the exact tool stack.

This Is Probably Not for You If

- Your outbound strategy is mainly based on increasing volume.
- You rely heavily on generic templates with light personalization.
- You evaluate campaigns only through acceptance or overall reply rates.
- You need someone else to define the audience, angle, and offer.

- You launch campaigns and wait weeks before analyzing their performance.
- You cannot provide examples of campaigns you personally built and improved.
- Your messaging sounds like it was generated by a sales automation tool.

How Success Will Be Measured

- Quality and precision of targeting.
- Positive reply rate.
- Qualified meetings booked.
- Meeting attendance and lead quality.
- Speed and quality of campaign iteration.
- Client campaign performance over time.
- Strength of the insights and playbooks you produce.

What Your First 90 Days Could Look Like

Thanks!
