Salary: $1,050 - $1,100 USD (monthly)

Key Responsibilities:

- Check bank accounts (Bank of America) daily for incoming rent payments and post to the Buildium Rent Roll.
- Post deposits in Buildium under Accounting Record Deposits and monitor the QuickBooks Online daily bank feed.
- Reach out to tenants regarding bounced payments.
- Record and pay bills every Thursday in Buildium and QuickBooks Online.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts across all accounts using Buildium and QuickBooks Online.
- Prepare and evaluate monthly financial reports for Partner review.
- Manage compliance cycles: prepare and mail 10-day letters on the 6th business day, audit and apply late fees on the 11th, and prepare "Failure to Pay" rent forms for court filing by month-end.




- Process payroll taxes and reports as required by federal and state timelines.

Skills:

- Advanced proficiency in Buildium, QuickBooks Online, Asana, and Google Workspace, or the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Understanding of trust accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation processes.
- Strong compliance mindset with the ability to meet strict state-mandated filing deadlines.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with tenants, owners, and business partners.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, comfortable switching between multiple platforms daily.

Qualifications:

- Experience in property management accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar role.
- Comfortable working fully remote with a dual-screen workstation, modern computer, and reliable internet.
- Strong English communication (written & spoken)
- High-speed wired internet (200 Mbps minimum)
- Windows 10/11 or Mac, minimum 8GB RAM, i5 or equivalent

Setting: 100% Remote

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (EST)
