Kinross Chile

Kinross’ La Coipa mine is located in the Atacama Region of northern Chile,



approximately 1,000 kilometres north of Santiago and 140 kilometres northeast of Copiapó. The La Coipa mine poured its first gold bar in March 2022 after restarting operations following suspension in 2013. Kinross is undertaking an exploration program to potentially extend mine life.

Kinross Chile has built strong relationships with its host communities based on trust and respect through engagement and consultation. The mine is supplied with 100% renewable power to meet its power needs.

Job Summary

Lead the execution of the long-term strategy for technical services, ensuring alignment with the organization’s overall strategy. Formulate intermediate and short-term tactical plans to drive the execution of the strategic objectives and to maximize operational efficiencies and profitability. Develop the technical services team to increase team capability, improve customer delivery and stakeholder and employee satisfaction.
