The International Potato Center (CIP) is looking for one (1) Legal Intern to provide support to Legal Department in Lima, Peru.

Key Responsibilities

- Support data entry and updates to non-confidential tracking spreadsheets (e.g., general document logs, template libraries).
- Conduct preliminary research on publicly available legal, regulatory, governance, and institutional matters and prepare summaries under supervision.




- Assist in scheduling and logistical coordination for Legal Unit meetings and training sessions.
- Support the digitization and basic archiving of non-sensitive historical legal documentation.
- Provide general administrative support to the Legal team as assigned.
- Support the Legal team in maintaining contract trackers, legal request logs, and other Legal Services Unit monitoring tools.
- Assist the Legal team in updating matter status information and preparing workload reporting data.
- Assist in organizing and updating legal templates, clause libraries and repositories under supervision.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for legal training, workshops, meetings, and institutional legal initiatives, as assigned.
- Assist with document organization, legal knowledge repositories, and the use of approved digital tools under supervision.
- Comply in the performance of assigned tasks, with applicable national and international laws, regulations, and standards, including health and safety requirements.
