DNV Maritime is seeking a Senior Surveyorto join our team in Callao, Peru, supporting a broad range of classification, statutory certification, newbuilding supervision, and assurance activities across the maritime industry.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with vessels in operation, support major maritime projects, contribute to business growth,
and help customers navigate an increasingly digitalized and decarbonized maritime industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct classification and statutory surveys on ships in operation in accordance with applicable DNV Rules, IMO Conventions, Flag State requirements, and international regulations.
- Perform onboard surveys during port stays, drydockings, repairs, modifications, and major conversion projects.
- Support and follow up on newbuilding projects, including construction supervision, testing, commissioning, and delivery activities.
- Provide technical guidance and advisory support to shipowners, operators, shipyards, and maritime stakeholders.
- Maintain professional communication with customers and act as a trusted technical resource.
- Support certification activities related to statutory and class requirements.
