Role purpose

The Tourism Partnerships team works to further the Museum’s share of the domestic and international tourism market by developing new engagement strategies, markets, products and services. The team is also responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with relevant industry sectors in the ACT, Australia and overseas.

Key accountabilities
- Coordinate the requirements for the Tourism Partnerships team, supporting delivery of tourism projects, product development and partnerships.
- Assist in monitoring budgets, procurement activities, risk registers and contract administration, ensuring compliance with public sector and Museum frameworks.
- Prepare and maintain high-quality project documentation, including meeting notes, schedules, procurement records and progress reports.
- Work collaboratively across teams and with external partners - such as corporate, tourism,



government and industry partners - to innovate and deliver tourism initiatives to drive visitation from interstate and international markets, increase revenue and raise the profile of the NMA.
- Coordinate all NMA tourism events, including tourism industry familiarisations, trade shows and industry briefings, ensuring these are effectively project managed and reported to the Business Unit Head.
- Coordinate all NMA tourism products including wholesale ticketing for tourism partners, Virtual Reality products, customer data in Tessitura and ensuring effective workflow and stakeholder engagement within the Commercial business unit and across the NMA teams.
- Coordinate all submissions to relevant tourism awards and accreditation programs.
- Support the Growth and Engagement division with partnership proposals, pipeline management and reporting from Tessitura.
