Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mid-Level Data Engineer who specializes in Synapse and Power Platform, with expertise in Python, T-SQL, and data flow. This role requires a strong understanding of cloud-based SQL and experience with MS SQL as a service.

Our IT/IS team is looking for a missionary or volunteer to serve as a Data Engineer to work on exciting projects and make a significant impact on our data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design efficient data solutions.
Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality and reliability.
Implement data integration processes using Synapse, DataVerse and Power Platform tools.
Write efficient Python and T-SQL scripts for data manipulation and transformation.
Optimize data processing and data flow for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with database administrators to manage cloud-based SQL and MS SQL as a service environments.
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
